Get involved by hosting a House Party!!!

We are so excited about this upcoming year and all of you who are getting involved with supporting house parties. It is our desire to encourage as many of you as possible to put together a house party with your friends and family to build not only awareness but financial support for LEAD. Banquets Update

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to give you all an update on how this year's fundraiser banquets went. Many of the houses in the city have running water as do most on the outskirts. I found out, interestingly enough that you can… Continue

Some Interesting things I’ve learned about Dakar

June 29, 2009

Well, I’ve already been here for only two days and I’ve already learned some new stuff. A friend of my father’s who owns a taxi here is helping me get around and yesterday he took me over the city to show me some of the sites.

Since it was Sunday and so the city was not very crowded, nor the bay but there was still a few fishermen out trying to catch their evening meal. I asked my friend about the different kinds of fish that are found here and he said there are many. One, which… Continue
